Gilman Contemporary will showcase a curated selection of acclaimed photographer Nick Brandt’s latest body of work, THE ECHO OF OUR VOICES: The Day May Break, Chapter Four. This new chapter is a continuation of his climate-conscious photography featuring the victims of climate change. THE ECHO OF OUR VOICES is a poignant visual narrative showing the impact of water scarcity on a group of Syrian refugees, mostly families, in southern Jordan. Brandt’s portrayal is both respectful and tender, as he captures the resilience of the human spirit and the stabilizing effects of human connection in the face of adversity.
